Context: At the suggestion of the University's Commission, during the meeting held on August 29th 1919 the Ruling Council of Transylvania, Banat, and the Hungarian Regions inhabited by Romanians appointed Alexandru Lapedatu associated professor at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the University in Cluj, at the Ancient History of the Romanians Department (5 hours of course a week and 2 hours of seminary a week).
