Context: Vasile Pârvan, as director of the National Museum of Antiquities, reminds Alexandru Lapedatu, as member of the Romanian Academy, secretary of the Historical Monuments Commission besides the Romanian Legation at the Peace Conference in Paris, of the issue of the cultural goods taken by the Bulgarians - manuscripts from the Romanian Academy and from the National Museum of Antiquities, as well as archaeological objects from Dobrudja that had been taken to Varna. For their recovery Pârvan suggests the issue be brought to the attention of I.I. C. Brătianu and placed on the agenda of the peace negotiations with Bulgaria.
