Context: Alexandru Lapedatu mentioned in his memoirs the fact that the donation of his personal library to the King Ferdinand I University of Cluj took place during the exile to Sibiu, in 1940. In 1942 Lapedatu sent a letter to the rector of the university mentioning this fact and requesting that his fond should not be dispersed.
