Context: The Peace Conference of Paris was held after the end of the First World War. The proceedings started on January 18th 1919. More than 10 000 delegates took part: politicians, diplomats, councilors and experts, representing the 27 countries involved in the conflagration. Lapedatu was appointed advisory councilor for issues regarding the Romanians in the former Austro-Hungarian Monarchy for the Romanian Legation in France.
